Cavco is one of the largest producers of manufactured homes in the United States. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Cavco has earned the reputation as a leader in housing in the Southwest since opening for business in 1965. Cavco also ranks as one of the country’s largest producers of Park Model and Cabin Homes (ANSI 119.5). Cavco's factory-built homes are produced under various trade names and in a variety of floor plans and price ranges. We manufacture homes constructed to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) building standards as well as the standards set forth by the International and Universal Building Codes. Park model homes and vacation cabins are built to the ANSI 119.5 code. Our HUD code and modular homes generally range in size from approximately 500 to 3,400 square feet and can include two to five bedrooms, a living room, dining room, family room, kitchen and two or more full bathrooms. Most of these are comprised of two or more sections or “modules,” although we also produce homes in one module. Our park model homes are less than 400 square feet and are purchased primarily as second homes for vacation or retirement living, and are placed in planned communities or recreational home parks. We also manufacture camping cabins for recreational use and commercial structures for a variety of purposes, including portable offices and showrooms.
